Impressionist Reflections

Influenced by Impressionism, a movement that sought to convey the sensations and emotions evoked by landscapes rather than merely depicting reality, my work often embraces a similar approach. Drawing inspiration from Monet’s 1891 Poplars series, which captures the ever-changing interplay of form and color reflected on water’s surface, I ventured in early spring into the Dombes in France, the land of a thousand ponds. My aim was to preserve the fleeting beauty of tree reflections on tranquil waters. These abstract and evanescent patterns immortalized on film are designed to stir emotions that resonate within each viewer’s mind. How do these images speak to your emotions? Displayed in large formats, these art photographs create a dynamic and ever-evolving atmosphere, shifting with light and your daily perception.
