Remembering Japan

As a child, I often wandered with my father through La Perle du Lac Park on the banks of Lake Geneva, where the maples reminded him of his own childhood in Japan. To capture these magical moments, I have returned there at sunrise in spring, a season synonymous with renewal in Japanese art. The sun's rays pierce through the leaves of the maples, igniting their colors and unveiling their delicate and rich hues of red, yellow, and green. Just as my father once saw his past reflected in these trees, these photographs capture the way nature’s cycles of renewal are expressed by the changing colors of the leaves. Displayed in large format, they bring the revitalizing energy of spring into any space.
